t is just about that time of year–time to paint the kitchen floors, that is. There has been a lot of chatter on blogs lately about painting floors. I have had a painted floor in almost every house I have lived in–since I have had my own floors to paint. I love them, can’t say enough nice things about them. The first painted floor I ever loved was by Mary McDonald. It was her kitchen floor painted with Hudson Bay blanket stripes in brown. Then I saw her gray and white zig-zag bathroom floor–I was inspired. The mountain kitchen floor will be painted in the next few weeks and I wanted to let you see my inspiration, and the decisions so far. We are using a circle and square design by Kevin Hawkins that was adapted from earlier designs. Hope you will check back to see the final results.
Check back for the final color selections and the process in action.
